What is continued education (CE)?
In order to mainatain and develop skills speciaists of many professions (including LPN) continue their education after achieving degree (or license). This can be done by taking various additional courses or refresher courses. As well authoring or co-authoring is also considered to be continued education.
Is continued education mandatory?
In most states - yes. You need proper amount of continued education to get your LPN license renewed. This is in addition to minimum required amount of practice. The actual amount of minimum required CE varies from state to state.
